Childrens Giant Foam Pick Up Sticks
Brand new in the UK. The safest pick up sticks ever invented, no sharp points and no wood splinters EVER. This is a game for two or more teams or players. The object of the game is to pick up all your chosen coloured sticks. These brightly coloured foam tubes can be handled safely by even the youngest player, soft and light with hollow centres so even the tiniest fingers can move them around. 1 Metre long and made from a safe U.V. treated Polystyrene foam, the tubes are supplied in two colours, the first to remove all their coloured tubes from the pile is the winner. A game of dexterity and strategy and a great aid to decision making in even the youngest mind, do you go for the easiest tube? Or will that let your opponent win lots of tubes, the decision is yours alone to make. To begin the game, we need to get the sticks somewhat randomly distributed so that they end up in a tangled pile. Gather the sticks into a bundle then release your grip on the sticks, letting the sticks fall randomly onto the ground. Any sticks that roll away will have to be placed on top of the pile. The first player attempts to remove a single foam stick, without letting any other stick move. The opposition will let you know if a stick has moved, usually followed by a shout of No it didnt! Strong refereeing is called for at this stage. The players must not cause any other sticks to move while attempting to remove their chosen stick. If any other stick moves, their turn ends immediately. Otherwise they continue moving the stick until it is completely out of the pile. Once a stick is won another attempt can be made for the next stick, your go is over when you move the oppositions foam stick. The game is over when one team/player has all the foam sticks in their possession. Suitable for indoor or outdoor use.
