We have successfully taken it on walks with little one pedalling or being pulled (using a skipping rope as a lead) on the pavement. Will be getting a 2 wheeled bike with stabilizers from Father Christmas and will be interesting to see how much she uses this once she has a bike as well. There is nothing more substantial than a small red plastic hubcap to keep the back wheels on rather than a bolt/nut design. Do not be over-enthusiastic with your hammering! A little 3-in-1 oil gets rid of the initial annoying squeak of the back wheel. Beyond this, I highly recommend the Radio Flyer - well worth the price for the sturdiness of construction and fun element. Also very swift delivery from allgardenfun. I will use them again. | | |

The bell has a great ting to it and the wheels are rubber which makes riding a good experience. Although it doesn't have a parent handle to pull or push it, we found using a dog lead worked just as well to pull it behind us!
